What is 'Smartedge'?

The purpose of 'Smartedge' is to save time and effort for the professional and amateur gardener and at the same time keep your garden looking great all year round.

'Smartedge' has been designed for the lawn edge and flower beds or between lawn and path preventing roots and earth distorting the lawn edge. One edge is fixed into the ground and prevents root and earth penetration, whilst the top edge allows grass to grow through thus forming a durable and hidden barrier.

How to lay 'Smartedge'

Firstly we recommend that you neaten the edge to be treated as much as possible, removing any hardy weeds, stones etc. Then simply dig a narrow trench that will allow 'Smartedge' to be easily sited. Locate 'Smartedge' into the soil so that the triangular section is level with the lawn. You may wish to use a wood hammer or a similar tool to locate 'Smartedge' thoroughly. Pin 'Smartedge' to the lawn surface using the locating pegs if necessary.
